Realizing the Homeowner’s Vision

From the start of this project our client expressed how important it was to get the home’s finish just right, with a specific focus on paint and drywall. They also had a very specific shade in mind when it came to the stain on the floors throughout the space. We worked with them and reviewed different color options to get the stain and finish just right.

Repurposing Reclaimed Materials

The home features unique touches of repurposed items. Reclaimed wood beams in the kitchen and breakfast space give the home a refined yet rustic feel. The bathroom features a repurposed wall fountain, now used as a powder room sink.

Taking the Time to do Things the Right Way

The center post featured prominently in the spiral staircase was carved from a single tree trunk, and had to be hand-shaped to support each individual stair tread. It took our onsite craftsman about a week to notch the center post and fit each tread.
